Newspaper Carabao and Orange Squishy

Some of the first few holiday treats I received…

A stuffed Guyito from our PDI contact, Eric.
I still don’t know why the Inquirer’s mascot was named Guyito. Answers, anyone?

Something hard & soft for the 1st day of our office kris kringle
Hmmm… squishy…

I will happily regress into a 5 year old if someone gives me a Boo doll!

  2. I was an intern at PDI during the birth of Guyito and the reason for that kasi PDI’s mascot is a Guya (a carabao-ish animal, not sure what it is in Tagalog) so for their Jr. PDI magazine, they asked readers to submit names and so Guyito won 🙂 It’s for a campaign kasi for kids to start reading. 🙂

    Hope that helps.
